 BREAKING: Shatta Wale Loses Step-mother


Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale has reportedly lost his beloved stepmother to the cold hands of death.

According to reports, the unfortunate incident is reported to have happened Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Shatta Wale’s Stepmother who was married to his father Mr. Nii Armah Mensah reportedly passed away in their home at Korle-Gono.

Shatta Wale had a close relationship with his stepmother than his real mother as he spent most of his childhood in his father’s house.

For the past few weeks, Shatta Wale’s mother has been in the news for obvious reasons.

Madam Elsie, his mother, has been crying on several radio stations.

According to Mama Elsie Avemagah, popularly known as Shatta Mama, ever since she was ejected from her house, life has become unbearable.

She has been sleeping in her car for days which according to her is causing severe headaches and high blood pressure due to lack of proper sleep.

Stonebwoy and Alpha Blondy spotted recording ‘Jerusalem’s’ remix video

  Stonebwoy and legendary reggae musician, Alpha Blondy, have been spotted on set recording Jerusalem’s remix video.[WATCH]   Stonebwoy and Alpha Blondy In October 2021, the Afro Pop, Reggae/dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, announced that he has received the permission to record a remix of Alpha Blonde’1986 classic, Jerusalem. The song was recorded by Alpha Blondy to celebrate the diversity and coexistence among Christians, Jews and Muslims in Jerusalem. The Ivorian musician wrote the song in 1985 shortly after his first visit to the ancient city. Nicknamed ‘Bob Marley of Africa’, Alpha Blondy worked with The Wailers on his Jerusalem album in 1986 which includes the song, Jerusalem. This makes Stonebwoy the first musician to produce an official remix of the song. The full list of nominees for the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, which is organized by Charterhouse has finally been released. This year, the board introduced new categories including EP of the Year, Best Gospel Song, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, and Best Aforbeats/Afropop Artiste.
