VGMA23: Full List Of Nominees Finally Released by Razzy Razzy

The full list of nominees for the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, which is organized by Charterhouse has finally been released. This year, the board introduced new categories including EP of the Year, Best Gospel Song, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, and Best Aforbeats/Afropop Artiste. The most coveted award of the night which is the Artist of the Year is being battled for by six artists including Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Joe Mettle, King Promise, and Black Sherif. Black Sherif, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Camidoh, S3fa, and Cina Soul will lead several other entertainers billed to perform at the 5th annual 3Music Awards scheduled for March 26 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference, the 3Music Awards has announced. Additionally, rising stars Ria Boss, Mona 4Reall and Kweku Darlington, as well as Gospel greats Joe Mettle and Ohemaa Mercy will all grace the grand 3Music Awards ’22 stage. Many more surprises are expected at an event reputed for its trailblazing concepts and electrifying content. Ace presenters Naa Ashorkor and Jay Foley return again to host the event which also welcomes back fans for the first time in three years following the COVID-19 pandemic. The last two editions, held virtually, helped establish the Awards as one of the most revolutionary on the continent. A few weeks ago, a call was made to all artiste, music producers, beatmakers, and instrumentalists to submit their works released between January 1 st  and December 31 st  2021. The VGMA board and the research team, have been at work, reviewing over 1000 submissions, to ensure the most qualified make it to the nominees list.  After weeks of meticulous reviews, the Board has finally completed its work and is ready to unveil the list of nominees. The Nominees Announcement, slated for  Saturday, 19 th  March 2022 , will be coming to you from the Grand Arena and aired live on TV3 at  8pm  and online on all VGMA Social Media Pages. Prior to the grand reveal however, a few selected categories will be done hourly from  11am to 4pm  on TV3, as well as online via a number of Social Media handles, websites and blog portals.   Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale has reportedly lost his beloved stepmother to the cold hands of death. According to reports, the unfortunate incident is reported to have happened Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Shatta Wale’s Stepmother who was married to his father Mr. Nii Armah Mensah reportedly passed away in their home at Korle-Gono. Shatta Wale had a close relationship with his stepmother than his real mother as he spent most of his childhood in his father’s house. For the past few weeks, Shatta Wale’s mother has been in the news for obvious reasons. Madam Elsie, his mother, has been crying on several radio stations. According to Mama Elsie Avemagah, popularly known as Shatta Mama, ever since she was ejected from her house, life has become unbearable. She has been sleeping in her car for days which according to her is causing severe headaches and high blood pressure due to lack of proper sleep.

  Ghanaian singer born Kelvin Brown popularly known as Kelvyn Boy has been arrested again by Ghana Police. Information gathered by Gossips24.com indicated that the Down Flat hitmaker has been arrested again after he appeared before the Adenta Circuit Court earlier today. This comes after the singer appeared before the Adenta court today after he was granted a GHC200,000 bail after his baby mama got him arrested for assaulting her. During court proceedings today, a report carried by Angel FM/TV said, the Judge over the case dismissed the case after both parties failed to provide enough evidence to back their case The correspondent adds that, as soon as Kelvyn Boy stepped out of the court room, he was arrested by Police again with a fresh assault case filed against him by his baby mama. Accordingly, he blames his mother for his tough childhood because she left her marital home.
